Brunei Music Industry

Here in Brunei,we don't know a single thing about our local artist and bands and thats one of the reasons why we couldn't care less about them and would rather be talking about and listening to singers and bands from overseas such as the most talked about band now known as 'Paramore'.The reason why people respond to their music is because they know stuff about them and their music is different from other bands.Some people would say that they have a very distinctive sound and I agree a hundred percent with that statement.~Our local artist and bands are rising up,but their rising at a slow pace and thats why we need to introduce them abroad and also to the Brunei community by doing more roadshows,charity works and other kind of works that can enhance the chances of our local artistes to be well known.~I am a big fan of the local music scene but I don't know much about them and it makes me kind of curious and thats why I would like to set up a site for our local artist and bands in the nearest future and I'll conduct interviews with them to get the real scoop about the lives as a local artist.My first choice for an interview would be Abg Hans Anwar because he's a very succesful person in the local music industry and he manages to juggle two careers easily.-Sheila Rose.-
